John O'Groats to Lands End
On 27th April 2013, long time ASK member Ann Marie Walton will be getting on her bike. Thankfully Anne Marie is not leaving the Academy but is taking on the challenge of cycling the 1100 mile journey from John O'Groats to Lands End in aid of the RNLI (route summary).
If you look at the RNLI website it is only too apparent how often their volunteer crews set out in terrible weather conditions to help those in danger at sea, often in disregard of their own personal safety.
If you are on Facebook you can follow Ann Marie's progress there or alternatively you can receive email updates of her progress by contacting husband Paul via waltonpr@btinternet.com.
You can also add your messages of support by sponsoring Ann Marie at
