Annual ASK Instructors Class
On Sunday 31st July 2016 at 'The Dojo' in Nottingham, senior club instructors from around the United Kingdom along with their assistants joined Sensei Hazard 7th Dan for the annual ASK instructors class. The content of 2016's three-hour training session consisted of close examination being given to the foot transitions between stances when stepping, turning, blocking and punching. The kata Jion was also looked at in great detail where many of the stance transitions were then applied. Sensei Hazard was assisted on the instructors class by senior association 7th Dans - Jess Lavender and Jeff Westgarth. Congratulations to Matt Corrall of Ashington Karate Club who was awarded his 5th Dan by Sensei Hazard. |
