Paul Walton 4th Dan

 

Paul has been training in Shotokan Karate for almost 30 years and has held the rank of 4th Dan since 2005. A member of the Academy since its formation in 2003, Paul was first introduced to Sensei Hazard in 1986 whilst as a member of the Highland Karate Association in Inverness. Having previously run clubs in Cornwall and Salisbury, Paul now lives in Brixham, South Devon training at various clubs in the South West. Provides some teaching support at the Teignbridge FSK club and is available for ad-hoc courses on request. Karate has for many years been a substantial part of family life for the Walton's with sons Daniel and Garreth currently both holding 3rd Dan. The Academy also presents the 'Matthew Walton' memorial shield to the most improved junior karateka of the year within the ASK. This is in honour of Matthew (1st Dan) who sadly passed away in 2003.
