Brighton Shotokan Karate Club

The Club was first established in 1973 and is affiliated to the Academy of Shotokan Karate (ASK), of which Sensei Dave Hazard, 7th Dan, is the Chief Instructor.

The Morpeth Dojo was established by Juli Pops in 1997, we have been based at the Morpeth Riverside Leisure Centre for over 20 years.
The Blyth Dojo was established by the inimitable Sensei Jeff Westgarth in 1980. After 37 extremely successful years, Sensei Westgarth decided to move on for pastures new and Juli Pops is now instructing the classes based at Blyth Sports Centre.Read more
