Paul Lewis
4th Dan
Paul has been training in Shotokan Karate since 1989 and has held the rank of 4th Dan since May 2024. A member of the Academy of Shotokan Karate since 2018, Paul is a former member of SEKU, starting his training under Sensei Hall of the Mile Oak Dojo, enjoying numerous courses and competitions. Paul had the privilege of being able to train under Sensei Hazard at a young age in the Brighton Dojo, experiencing first hand Sensei's expert insight and skill in Shotokan Karate. The Brighton Dojo is where Paul still trains today under the expert guidance of Sensei Lavender. Paul is honoured to open the Worthing Academy of Shotokan Karate D-ojo in 2025; he hopes to inspire his students as he was inspired through traditional Shotokan Karate teaching.
